About British Ancestors

Research Library; British Ancestors, the trading name of BA Research Services Ltd., was founded in Shropshire, England, in 1999.

We have helped over 8,000 clients worldwide trace their British roots under the direction of co-founders Keith and Carol Spillar and a network of researchers throughout England and Scotland.

Our sister company, Ancestor Seekers LLC, was established in Salt Lake City in 2004 to provide research assistance at the Family History Library.

British Ancestors and Ancestor Seekers have since co-sponsored numerous highly successful week-long research trips to Salt Lake City, welcoming hundreds of guests from throughout the United States, Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand.
